Lately I've had to rely on the Internet more for my news as I haven't had time or inclination to pick up a newspaper. I'm not sure if this is a good thing as I have a tendency to filter out a lot more when I read online. With a newspaper I'll at least read a headline and the first paragraph of a story I don't actually read. Whereas online I'll just look at the headline and skip it. Maybe I'll eventually get into a routine where I read the paper again. Plus I miss all of my favorite comics.
Actually it goes deeper than newspapers. I haven't finished a book in along time, it could be because my attention span is getting shorter but I'm not sure. Maybe I just haven't picked up any good books lately. Or I just need to make the time (and just how does one make time?).
I'm just wondering if reading on the Internet actually counts as reading?
