While listening to NPR today there was a story about a web site called PostSecret. It sound it like a really cool project, this fellow in Maryland has people send him anonymous post cards with their secrets on them. When I went to check it out later I was kind of blown away. Some of the cards are sad and pathetic while others are profound or downright disturbing. Of course there is also some that are just funny and hopeful.
As I was listening to the segment I was reminded of at least two other sites that are somewhat similar in concept. Group Hug is one and Not Proud is the other. These two are a little more immediate but they lack the effort and creativity of the post cards. Confession: sometimes I feel guilty looking at these things.
