What do you call a
cabonated beverage? When I lived in Indianapolis, we called it a coke even if it was a Sprite. After moving here to Colorado I started saying soda, even though according to the
map Colorado is pop territory. Of course this now makes me wonder if there's a difference between a creek and a crick.

Being an east-coaster, who went to school in Minnesota, I went from calling it soda, to pop, to soda again.
I live close enough to both MA and CT to hear both pop and tonic being used for soda. Nowadays I just usually ask for a drink.
